Gonzalo also advises on outsourcing transactions; IT and software contracts; electronic signatures; telecoms; copyright licensing and distribution (audiovisual works, music, videogames, etc.); e-commerce; domain names and legal issues related to the Internet, personality rights and advertising.
He makes regular contributions to specialized publications and books on data protection and IT Law and is also a regular speaker in seminars and conferences on these matters. He has led the advice on some of the most sophisticated data protection and IT law matters in Spain, such as huge investigations of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (including litigating against the AEPD before the Courts), some of the biggest IT multijurisdictional Outsourcings executed in Spain as well as data breaches and drafting several laws regulating IT law, electronic signatures and privacy in the Dominican Republic.
