Business and the Libya Crisis: the Legal Background and Solutions

On 8 June 2011, Francesca Rolla, Massimiliano Marinozzi and Andrea Atteritano, with the participation of Natalino Ronzitti (Professor of International Law) and a representative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will hold a workshop in Rome on "Corporations and the Libyan Crisis". The legal issues of the State's succession in contract stipulated with foreign parties, validity of contracts concluded by insurrectional authorities and assets freezing will be discussed with a question time open to participants.
