Ed Harris is partner in the London office. Ed advises on a broad range of corporate and funds transactions, with particular focus on private M&A, joint ventures, co-investments, secondaries, GP-led transactions and leveraged buy-outs. He acts for both private equity houses, institutional investors and corporates across a range of sectors.

Advised Pantheon on Idinvest venture GP-led, involving the transfer of 12 assets from several growth and venture capital vehicles into a continuation fund

Advised Pantheon on the acquisition of five European renewable and concession-based assets in Marguerite GP-led deal

Advised Pantheon on the Avenue Capital Group GP-led deal

Advised Pantheon on stapled secondary offering of interests in Lyceum Capital (now Horizon Capital)

Advised Pantheon on acquisition of 29.1% of portfolio company interests owned by Candover Investments, as part of the spin-out of Arle Capital

Represented Investindustrial on numerous transactions, including €2.1bn divestment of Avincis, divestment of 49.9% in Portaventura, investment/divestment of Goldcar and GP-led of Investindustrial IV

Represented Terra Firma on numerous transactions including €2.57bn Annington Homes acquisition and €331m acquisition of Wyevale Garden Centre (and over 10 bolt-on transactions)

Represented Idinvest on stapled secondary offering of interests in Lyceum Capital (now Horizon Capital) and on the Three Hills Capital Partners GP-led deal

Represented pension schemes, family offices and SWFs on investments and divestments including the portfolio sale by Kodak to Pomona and portfolio sale by West Midlands Pension to Lexington

Represented KIRKBI on numerous transactions including its acquisition with Blackstone of Armacell Group from Charterhouse

Represented Ventiga Capital on P2P of Nordic Service Partners Holding, P2P of Thesis Asset Management, acquisition of Infare Solutions and acquisition of Retail Insights

Represented EQT on the disposal of cable business Blizoo to Telekom Austria

Advised the management team of Geo Networks on its disposal of US cable business Zayo

Advised the founders on the sale of life sciences business Internis to STADA

Advised the founders on the establishment of Landways and the subsequent investment by Columbia Capital

Represented Canadian software group Constellation Software on numerous transactions
