Hogan Lovells’ Corporate Trust and Agency Team Recognized For Work on 2018 Award Winning Transactions

Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that its corporate trust and agency team earned recognition for advising on several award-winning deals in this year’s awards season. Hogan Lovells advised The Bank of New York Mellon as Indenture Trustee and U.S. Collateral Agent on the Stoneway project bond, which was awarded Project Finance International (PFI)’s LatAm Deal of the Year. Stoneway raised US$500 million in 10-year senior secured notes in February 2017, considered to be the first project bond issued out of Argentina in the past 25 years and the first ever Argentinian greenfield power generation project bond. Stoneway completed a follow-on offering for an additional US$165 million of senior secured notes in November 2017.

Hogan Lovells also advised The Bank of New York Mellon as Offshore Collateral Agent and Offshore Account Bank, on Wade International Airport, IJGlobal’s North American Airports Deal of the Year. The Wade International Airport P3 transaction included the raising of US$285 million pursuant to the sale of senior secured notes due 2042.

In addition to these transactions, Hogan Lovells has been shortlisted by IFLR Americas for Debt & Equity Linked Deal of the Year for its work on the Stoneway transaction and for Debt & Equity Linked Law Firm of the Year.
