Client Choice
Mike Mason's clients frequently turn to him to handle high-stakes matters. Mike leads a multidisciplinary team focused on providing a full spectrum of legal services to clients in the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services (ADG) industry.
He represents clients in bid protest litigation before the Government Accountability Office and U.S. Court of Federal Claims, often involving contracts valued in hundreds of millions, or billions, of dollars. Mike assists clients where there are allegations of misconduct, including False Claims Act litigation, Procurement Integrity Act violations, suspension and debarment proceedings, cyber incidents, and mandatory disclosures.
Mike also guides clients through the complex and ever-changing myriad of government regulatory requirements. Mike has years of experience assisting clients with all aspects of the Federal Supply Schedule program, especially including the "high risk" areas of pricing disclosure and monitoring requirements. Mike regularly helps clients with gap assessments and the construct of compliance programs. Mike's comprehensive knowledge benefits clients on all aspects of cybersecurity, including government safeguarding and reporting requirements. Mike is also a key participant in the firm's Government Contracts practice, where he represents clients in bid protest litigation, contract claims and disputes, False Claims Act litigation, government investigations, and complex compliance challenges.
Mike's dedication to the firm's clients has been widely recognized. Mike has repeatedly been named among "America's Leading Business Lawyers" in Government Contracts by Chambers USA. Mike received back-to-back "MVP" honors for Government Contracts by Law360, and has been recognized by Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal for Government Contracts. In 2015, Mike received a Client's Choice Award for "Excellence in Services" in the Public Procurement category.
