Marisa H. Lenok represents major financial institutions in federal and state courts and before federal agencies. Marisa is experienced in representing clients in multi-district litigation, as well as in investigations conducted by U.S. regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice. Marisa has also advised clients on litigation and arbitration matters with a particular focus on commercial disputes and securities litigation.

Marisa is also actively involved in firm activities and pro bono matters. She has successfully represented numerous pro bono clients seeking asylum from persecution in countries including Jamaica and Macedonia. She also represented a pro bono client in state court seeking an order of protection.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Marisa developed her complex commercial litigation practice at another global law firm, where she represented two major financial institutions in two separate shareholder securities class action litigations.

Marisa also gained experience as a clerk for the Honorable Gabriel W. Gorenstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. While in law school, she served as Symposia Editor of the Cardozo Law Review.
