Qing started her professional career in Hogan Lovells in Beijing in 2013. Afterwards, she studied in the LL.M. program of the Georgetown University Law Centre with a focus on antitrust law. In 2017, she re-joined Hogan Lovells Washington D.C. Office where she worked closely with the U.S. antitrust group and international trade group.

Currently based in Shanghai, her practice spans across various industries such as high-tech, media and telecom, chemical, shipping and manufacturing. She has advised Chinese and multinational companies in antitrust law matters, including merger control filings, conduct investigations, regulatory compliance and policy analysis.

Assisted multinationals in cartel and unilateral conduct investigations in China.

Advised a U.S. chemical company assisting antitrust investigation by the U.S. Fair Trade Commission as a third party.

Supported a Chinese company in response to proposed export control sanction by U.S. Department of Commerce.

Assisted IBM with the China merger filing in two transactions, through which the company sold its x86 server business (to Lenovo) and semiconductor assets (to Global Foundries).

Supported multinational conglomerate ALSTOM in the sale of its energy business to General Electric.

Assisted with the U.S. HSR merger filing for a transaction between two U.S. chemical companies.

Regularly analyse antitrust risks for TMT companies.
