Andrew Lee began his career at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission during the Clinton Administration, where he helped initiate several major antitrust enforcement actions and assisted the Commission's leadership in formulating broad competition law enforcement policies and agenda.

A significant part of Andrew's practice in the past decade has focused on counseling corporations and executives – with particular focus on multinational corporations based in Asia – that have faced high-risk antitrust investigations and disputes globally. He is especially experienced in advising his clients on preventing, mitigating, defending, and responding to potential risks of antitrust and related business conduct within a company.

Andrew also actively advises his clients on properly structuring and successfully obtaining antitrust and other governmental approvals for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other important strategic business initiatives in the United States and other key jurisdictions around the world.

Fully leveraging the global coverage and diverse practice capabilities of Hogan Lovells, Andrew provides comprehensive support for his clients in all aspects of establishing and expanding their global business presence. In recent years, Andrew has counseled his key global clients on such mission-critical projects as: international trade disputes, greenfield energy projects, strategic acquisitions or capital investments, significant cross-border arbitrations and litigation, settlements of intellectual property disputes, export control and international sanctions compliance advice, and anti-corruption advice.
