Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Implementation Update, Enforcement Trends, and Future Predictions

Food and Beverage Law Partners Elizabeth Fawell and Maile Hermida will provide a primer on food manufacturers’ obligations under the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), discuss FSMA inspections and enforcement trends, share FSMA "hot topics" and predictions for future key challenges, provide an overview of the legal framework for the use of cannabidiol (CBD) in foods, and outline other key food regulatory issues facing the food industry in the coming year (e.g., BE disclosure).
