Kelly Balkin counsels public and private clients across industries on a wide range of corporate matters, combining practical advice with novel legal approaches.
Leveraging her degree in economics to provide a framework for developing efficient solutions, Kelly assists with public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance changes, and joint ventures in an increasingly globalized marketplace.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Kelly worked as an associate at another leading law firm and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law where she served as executive editor of the University of Miami Law Review. While in law school, Kelly interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office Appellate Division and the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. Kelly's note on accountant-client privilege in multidistrict litigation was published by the University of Miami Law Review.
